Jacob was being remembered in his obituary as a "friend to all," who loved writing, music, soccer, watching the Washington Commanders, and visiting the beaches of the Outer Banks.
His Facebook profile shows he attended Stafford Senior High School and Bridgewater College, and worked several jobs including one as a data processor for GEICO.
Jacob is survived by his mother, Judy; father, Jeff (Lori); sister, Jessie (Andy); stepsister Rachel (Derrick); stepbrother Dylan; a host of nieces and nephews, and countless more relatives and loved ones.
Services were held at the Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service on Oct. 26. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness or the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
